Connect Twitch to Discord.
Stream Smarter, Grow Faster.
Go-live alerts, subscriber verification, stream statistics, clip feeds, raid coordination, and VOD notifications. All running automatically inside your Discord server.
Twitch + Discord automation features
Turn your Discord server into the command center for your stream.
Go-live alerts
Stream goes live, Discord gets notified within seconds. Rich embeds with stream title, game, viewer count, and a live thumbnail. Supports multiple streamers and custom ping roles.
Subscriber verification
Members authenticate via Twitch OAuth. The bot confirms their subscription tier (Tier 1, 2, 3) and assigns matching Discord roles. Periodic re-checks catch expired subs.
Stream statistics
Post stream recaps after every broadcast: peak viewers, average viewers, duration, new followers, new subs, bits received, and top chatters. Historical trend tracking included.
Clip feeds
Automatically post new clips to a dedicated channel as they are created. Filter by minimum view count, clip creator, or game category. Members vote on best clips of the week.
Raid coordination
Track incoming and outgoing raids. Auto-welcome raided viewers with a custom message, temporarily unlock channels, and log raid analytics for community growth tracking.
VOD and schedule notifications
Notify members when new VODs are published or when the stream schedule updates. Members set preferences for which categories or days they want alerts for.
Common Twitch + Discord workflows
- Streamer community server: go-live ping to a notification role, auto-create a live discussion thread, post stream recap when the broadcast ends
- Sub-only perks: verify Twitch sub status via OAuth, assign tier-specific Discord roles, gate emote channels, VOD discussion, and direct streamer access behind active subs
- Multi-streamer organization: track go-live status for 10+ streamers on one team. Unified dashboard showing who is live, viewer counts, and total concurrent viewership
- Clip-of-the-week contest: bot collects clips throughout the week, posts them to a voting channel on Sunday, tallies reactions, announces the winner, and archives results
- Follower milestone alerts: bot monitors follower count and posts celebratory embeds when milestones are hit. Configurable thresholds for 1K, 5K, 10K, 50K, 100K
How the Twitch API integration works
The Twitch API and EventSub system provide real-time data for building powerful Discord integrations.
- EventSub (stream.online / stream.offline): webhook-based push notifications when a stream starts or ends. The foundation of all go-live alert systems. Near-zero latency.
- Twitch API (Get Streams): returns live stream data including viewer count, game, title, and thumbnail URL. Used for real-time embed updates and multi-streamer dashboards.
- Twitch API (Check User Subscription): verifies whether a user is subscribed to a channel and at which tier. The core mechanism for sub-gated Discord access.
- Twitch API (Get Clips): fetches clips by broadcaster, game, or clip ID. Filterable by date range and sortable by view count. Powers automated clip feeds and contests.
- Twitch OAuth 2.0: secure authentication where members link their Twitch account to Discord. Grants read-only access to subscription and follow status. Revocable at any time.
